Creating Giving & Greeting in November…

We are getting on in the year and gift giving season is already happening with buying anfd even making gifts to people we care and think of. In November will are going to sit around and dabble into some xmas hand/home made creations.

Sending via the old fashion way of reaching someone with a greeting; homemade greeting cards are awesome. There are so many ideas for the occasion even recycling old cards into new also the xmas card you got last year from someone you could use that and send them back a greeting and so on; fill the card(like a graffitti xmas card) for someones family history trunk to pass on down.

Design your own xmas greeting card with stamps and embelishments…

Paper Dolls

We all had paper dolls when we were growing up, I’m sure. I even remember making my own-I had lined paper from an exercise book, because it’s all I had and the lines were annoying it was the not good enough saying- I think half the clothes had strippy clothes to make them fashionable which hid the lines. Memories did come back when I had to make  a paper doll in a workshop. I loved paper dolls and I still do!

While buying my magazines from the newsagent I came across The Collectors http://www.abc.net.au/tv/collectors/ magazine, issue 10, which had an article about  a little bit of history of the dolls. While looking if it’s online I came across this paper doll site The Original Paper Doll Guild http://www.opdag.com/ A very good site with all stuff about paper dolls.

Handmade by…the flat will have some paper dolls self create packs in the near future, so check out KFAI space soon!
